Meet the Tutors
Jenna has taught in the Augusta School District for the past 8 years. She has also coached the Cony high school girls JV and V soccer teams, as well as tutored here at The Study Hall for the past 5 years. She has recently resigned from her teaching and coaching positions in order to pursue tutoring and managing The Study Hall full time. She has a great understanding of a well balanced education and will do her best to work around the schedules of school, sports, and extracurricular activities for the students who come. Jenna enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, family, and friends, being outside, and exploring new places.

Danielle "Dee" has taught for 15 years in multiple different aspects of education. Her areas of focus are special education, RTI, PBIS, and MTSS for grades K-12. Dee currently works with the Lewiston Public School District as an Elementary Student Engagement Specialist. She earned her Masters in Education from University of New England in 2012 after returning to Maine from Texas where she worked in the Sports Management field for 10 years. She lives in Gardiner with her husband Stewart and their two dogs Marley and Henry. She has three children, all of whom have graduated from high school. In her free time she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and pups, creating graphics/designing websites, and the company of good friends.
Danielle "Dee" Pouzol, M.Ed
Amelia is currently in her 14th year teaching Social Studies and ELA at Hall-Dale Middle and High School (RSU 2). She attended Simmons College in Boston for her undergraduate studies and USM in Portland where she earned her Masters degree. When she's not teaching or tutoring, she enjoys traveling and riding roller coasters with her almost 14 year old nephew.
Amelia Clukey
Kendra has been teaching for 28 years in the central Maine area. Her career started at Gardiner area high school, and she currently teaches at Hall-Dale High School (Pre-Calculus, AP Stats, Thomas College MS197 and MS 205, Yearbook). Her favorite thing about school and learning is working with students and her coworkers. Her favorite subject is math and she enjoys books by Jodi Picoult. She has 3 adult children, 12 chickens, and 2 cats. Kendra loves to spend time outside in the summer in the pool and gardening.
Kendra Guiou
Emily teaches French to grades 6-12 at Hall-Dale Middle and High School. She coaches middle school field hockey there as well! Emily has been a tutor at The Study Hall for 4 years. Her favorite thing about learning is that it opens up new worlds and horizons that you didn't even know existed! She loves to travel, read, and knit in her free time.
Emily Bowen
Alyssa has taught middle school science for the past two years, spending time at Cony Middle School and Wiscasset Middle School. She has experience with middle school science all the way to AP Biology! Her favorite thing to teach is the scientific method, she enjoys guiding students through the process of thinking of an idea, creating a method to test the idea, testing the idea, analyzing the data, and coming to a conclusion! She loves exploring the world of science with her students, the opportunities are endless! In her spare time she likes to go hiking, walks on the beach with her dog, and spending time with her family.
